Acceptance

By downloading or using FloatCode, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

What FloatCode is

FloatCode is a free, open-source desktop application that provides a transparent terminal overlay powered by Claude Code CLI. It is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind.

Use of the app

  • You may use FloatCode for personal and commercial projects
  • You are responsible for all commands and code executed through the app
  • You must comply with Anthropic's usage policies when using Claude Code through FloatCode

Intellectual property

FloatCode and its source code are the property of Mapelabs. The app is free to use but not open for redistribution or resale without permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

FloatCode is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Use at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mapelabs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of FloatCode, including but not limited to data loss, system damage, or loss of productivity.

Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of FloatCode after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
